Back in 1963 Ricky Gleason & the Topspots were Cavern DJ Bob Wooler's tip to "reach for the stars" and follow in the footsteps of Mersey Beat's Billy J Kramer & the Dakotas.
They played The Cavern Club, the Hamburg Star Club and supported The Beatles on many occasions.
Now, re-united with all original members, Ricky Gleason & the Topspots perform a repertoire of popular songs from the years of Rock 'n' Roll and Mersey Beat. Two music eras never to be forgotten.
